Unit News for April 2007

You may have noticed that this month’s unit game has been moved back one week to avoid conflict with Easter. If you forget and show up on the 8th, however, you can probably help hide Easter eggs for the kids.

Our club results are kind of limited this month because Roger Boyar selfishly decided to abandon us for two weeks in Hawaii. Go figure.

Anyway, top games of the month were three 70%+ efforts posted in the Tuesday Individual by Ben Harris, Richard Patterson, and Kurt Trieselman (#1 with a nice 75%). Winners with 60%+ games included Penny Barbieri, Helen Wang, Walt Otto, Rick Whitham, Georgiana Bierman, Paule Ford, and John Tyner. Other winners were Cordell Goode, Lary Alba, and Joe Unis.

Luckily, this year’s Mini-McKinney and Ace of Clubs awards have been announced, so the column won’t be only 37 words long. Here they are:
